Tobias began playing drums aged 5 in a carpentry workshop above a family party. Later, he attended Drumtech in London where he attained a First Class Bachelor of Music Degree. 

Simply put, he has toured the world and performed as a session musician for numerous solo artists and bands.

He has performed on Letterman, Conan, Kimmel, The Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy, Lorraine, Rachel Ray and various other US morning shows.

He has recorded with producers David Kahne (Paul McCartney, The Strokes, Stevie Nicks), Youth (Kate Bush, Primal Scream, U2), Andy Gill (Gang Of Four, RHCP, Killing Joke), Ben Hillier (Nadine Shah, Blur, The Maccabees) among others.

Tobias is a band member of both Lawns and Zeit Raum Mensch.

He currently performs as a session musician for EERA, Nicole Faux Naiv and Tara Nome Doyle.
